Environmental Sustainability Committee

A Committee of the Faculty Senate

Arcadia University's Environmental Sustainability Committee has a 3-fold charge comprising productivity, discourse, and communication.

  1. Productivity: Collaborating with AU's stakeholders to advance the University’s environmental sustainability initiatives and other green efforts.
  2. Discourse: Catalyzing discourse between greater society’s environmental sustainability and green concerns and the university's curriculum.
  3. Communication: Spotlighting the University's environmental sustainability initiative and other green efforts and AU’s curricular goals and accomplishments.

The ESC is administered by the Faculty Senate. Its members sit with the annual approval of the Faculty Senate’s Work and Welfare Committee. The ESC is a stakeholder of Arcadia Cares: Environmental Sustainability.
