Class of 2022 Spotlight: Weston Carpenter

Major: Health Administration

On Campus: Resident Assistant and an Ambassador. 

Abroad: Weston studied for a semester last year at Edinburgh Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland. "There, Arcadia hosted a “Goodbye Dinner” at a Duke’s mansion," Carpenter recalled. "We toured his house and had a fabulous dinner. Then we took part in a traditional Scottish Cèilidh (Kale - ee) / dance and had an absolute blast. Arcadia Scotland sure knows how to throw a party!

Advice to Students: "Every new student should join a club. It’s where I met a lot of my friends and it’s great for networking campus. I found the Arcadia Ultimate Frisbee team at the club fair where the captain was wearing a squirrel suit. My life has never quite been the same since." 

Volunteer Work: Weston has been a hospital volunteer with St. Luke’s University Health Network and has volunteered with Hope for Haiti and Appalachia Service Project. 

After Acadia: Weston is looking forward to starting his professional career in June with ADP as an inside sales representative in compliance solutions.
