On Monday, Nov. 1, Dr. Anthony D’Alonzo ’06DPT received the 2021 Physical Therapy Alumni Award at Arcadia University. Dr. D’Alonzo is division director and vice president of clinical strategy and innovation at BAYADA Home Health Care.
The award is presented to an individual who demonstrates extraordinary professionalism and serves as an outstanding role model to the Arcadia Physical Therapy community. The recipient exhibits commitment to the profession and to Arcadia University by upholding high standards for achieving the vision of the American Physical Therapy Association through advocacy, access, equity, collaboration, consumer-centricity, identity, innovation, quality, and value.
At BAYADA, Dr. D’Alonzo oversees the design and implementation of new care delivery strategies in coordination with partner health systems and health plans. His focus includes health care payment and delivery models, value-based reimbursement, risk-sharing arrangements, and population health trends. In addition to his primary role, he provides support for predictive analytics, electronic information exchange, and regulatory compliance.
Dr. D’Alonzo joined BAYADA in 2010 and has held multiple leadership roles since that time. Additionally, he is a licensed physical therapist and serves as an adjunct professor for the Physical Therapy department at Arcadia. Outside of work, he lives in the greater Philadelphia region and enjoys going for a run, mowing the lawn, and spending family time with his wife and two children.
