To help us deliver crucial AEDI changes to our community, our faculty and staff Liaisons work to embed our efforts more broadly and deeply within Arcadia University departments.
Arcadia’s Anti-Black Racism Initiatives (ABRI) impact all members of our University community—from prospective and current students, to faculty and staff, alumni to leadership, and to our donors, friends, and neighbors.
The Office of Access, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion works closely with the Arcadia community to uphold the lived values of our university: Adaptability, Excellence, Fearlessness, Integrity, Intellectual Freedom, Justice, Respect, and Responsibility.
The Office of Access, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion directly oversees the Office of Equity and Civil Rights/Title XI. OECR is committed to promoting, supporting and providing resources to sustain a living, learning and working environment of diversity, equality, fairness, inclusion, and respect where all members of the University community are valued.
The Office of Access, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (OAEDI) is the University's primary resource for providing opportunities for the training and development of faculty, staff and students to enhance awareness and appreciation for difference; and for assessing the campus climate. We provide direct support and advocacy for African American, Latino, Asian, and Native American (ALANA), and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ+) students, faculty, and staff.
Provide leadership in creating an equitable and inclusive learning and working community where every student, faculty and staff can thrive while working to amplify and advance the efforts of CABR and JEDI.
OAEDI partners closely with the other offices at Arcadia University to offer and support programming and resources for our community. Find resources through other campus offices and programs to support your journey at Arcadia!
