Were you involved in service in high school? Eager to volunteer for the first time? Whatever your passion, we are the people to get you out and involved in the community in meaningful ways.
Students choose to do service for a multitude of reasons. While important, volunteering is not solely about you giving of yourself. In the long term, we want to give you the opportunity to develop skills and insight into possible careers. Whether that’s experience in a medical environment, an educational setting or with a non-profit—we’ll help to find where your passion is!
Please email ccec@arcadia.edu to receive more information about getting involved.
The Student Government Organization requires that organizations participate in at least one service-related experience each semester. Our goal is to help you find opportunities to use your interests to assist in the community. We hope to enhance your club’s focus by offering your club’s specific talent, hobby, or interest to our community.
We have a whole host of events that we do on an annual basis (Empty Bowl Benefit Dinner, MLK Day of Service, Fall & Spring Flea Markets), but if you have the urge to do something different…DO IT! Before you plan and start your event check with us first by submitting a proposal or emailing us. We require two weeks notice via this proposal before your event can begin.
Clubs are required to complete a Record of Service form after their service project. The form should be printed out and signed by the project supervisor, then returned to the CCEC office.
After your service experience is completed, you will also need to submit an evalutation which will let us know how the event went and how many participants there were.
*Please only attempt to access these forms from a computer, as they will not work correctly on mobile devices.
Give Blood and Help to Save Lives - Be sure to schedule an appointment!
Blood drive availability during COVID-19 outbreak.
To support social distancing, appointments are now required. With thousands of blood drives cancelled during the COVID-19 pandemic, The Red Cross is working hard to open new donation sites. In the meantime, please search 14 days out or beyond. The need for blood is constant - patients need your help!
When you give a pint, you give more than just blood—you give the gift of life, you give someone hope for a second chance, and you give back to the community.
The Red Cross is in constant need of volunteers, and the Red Cross continues to evolve as they navigate each new health crisis. Volunteer opportunities include supporting blood donations, delivering much needed services to the community, and even working remotely from home. If you decide to volunteer through the Red Cross, send an email to ccec@arcadia.edu or tag arcadiaccec on Instagram to share your experience! We love hearing the stories of Arcadia Knights helping the community!
