> Library > About > Circulation Policies
Checking library materials is permitted for currently enrolled students, currently employed faculty and staff and other individuals who may be approved for circulation privileges by permission of the Dean of the Library, Dr. Jeanne Buckley.
All Arcadia University faculty, staff and students are issued an Arcadia photo identification card which identifies them as member of our University community. This photo identification card may be obtained at the Office of Public Safety. This office is located in the ground level area of Dilworth Hall next to Heinz Hall.
Items that were checked out at the circulation desk must be returned at the desk or through the book drop located on the left hand side of the outside entrance doors to the library. The book drop is open 24 hours a day.
Books may be renewed twice, unless someone else has requested the book. Books must be renewed before the due date by calling 215-572-2975 during our hours of operation.
The majority of books in the Landman Library are shelved in call number order using the Library of Congress Classification system.
Study rooms are available to current Arcadia students only. They are available on a first come and first serve basis. Library staff reserve the right to ask a single person occupying a group study room to relocate when a group is looking for a room.
