Preview Photo & Video Contest
As you face the impossible task of sorting through your iCloud when you return from Preview, we hope you’ll share your favorite moments with us. Here are a few tips for winning Arcadia's 2022 Preview Photo and Video Contest:
Do:
- Submit high-quality photos (minimum resolution: 1200x1800 or 2MB).
- Capture the community, culture, natural beauty, and spirit of your host country.
- Have fun! Be creative, think outside the box, excite us. We live vicariously through your cool selves.
- Wear Arcadia swag, if possible.
- Remember: We accept vlogs, too. Though we’d appreciate a Scorsese-level production, we’re looking for interesting content, strong visuals, and for you to show (and tell) us what makes Preview unique.
Don't:
- Enter pictures of landmarks unless you or your classmates are prominently featured. We want to see you exploring your Preview destination.
- Send us the same subject from different angles. Be selective with your submissions.
- Submit photos of cats, dogs, flowers, camels—we love ’em, but we also have those here!
2022 Preview Photo & Video Contest
Categories
Three grand-prize winners will be announced at Global Expo on April 8. Honorable mention recipients will also take home prizes (to be announced), and select entries will be showcased in Arcadia Magazine and on social media.
This year's submission categories include:
Classrooms Without Borders
Your education abroad is not confined by four walls. We want to see where and how you learned: whether you’re exploring London’s music scene, discussing gender stereotypes on the streets of Edinburgh, or deconstructing supernatural stories in Dublin.
Venturing Into Global Communities
Capture you and your classmates exploring what makes your location unique, from iconic landmarks to hidden gems. Bonus points for community engagement (i.e. volunteering, participating in a cultural event, or simply making friends abroad).
A Confident Adventurer
Show us how you transformed from a curious student into a confident adventurer during Preview. We want to see breathtaking backdrops and interesting compositions, but the main feature should be you!

Global Expo is open to the entire Arcadia University community—and so is this year's Social Media Contest! We want a glimpse of your world: Whether you’re venturing abroad with your Preview class, exploring a global topic in your favorite course, engaging in a local service project, or participating in a club that has broadened your perspective.
Simply add #PreviewMyWorld to your Instagram caption (and make sure your account is public) to enter. Our favorite posts will be shared on Arcadia University’s Instagram, and winners will be announced (and receive prizes) at Global Expo.
