Welcome to the College of Arts and Sciences at Arcadia University.
As a member of our community, you have the opportunity to participate in the multifaceted experience of a liberal arts education within the context of a university. Our students benefit from the inquiry-based nature of the liberal arts while applying the knowledge and skills they gain to experiences on our campus and abroad. Throughout this process, you will find opportunities for introspection, consideration of our place in a global society, and preparation for your future.
Within the College of Arts and Sciences, you have options for a wide array of strong academic programs and extracurricular activities. With undergraduate majors in the arts, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences and graduate programs in psychology, English, forensic science, and international peace and conflict resolution, you have multiple areas to explore. Academic studies extend beyond our campus and beyond our borders with more than 100 options for study abroad experiences. Outside of the classroom, students are involved in NCAA Division III athletic teams and more than 50 clubs and organizations. Center City Philadelphia is only a few miles away, enabling students to experience an important historical and cultural center.
Within this setting, you will pursue an exceptional education as part of a cohesive community of scholars. The environment at Arcadia fosters intellectual growth, creativity, innovation, and consideration of diverse backgrounds and experiences. You will develop enduring relationships with students, faculty members, and staff members that will keep you connected, whether you are on campus, studying abroad, or pursuing post-graduation goals.
