Congratulations on being accepted to your graduate program. This is a guide to the steps you’ll need to take as you prepare to start at Arcadia. We’ve also included a few online resources for your reference.

If you’ve already started your program, contact the Graduate Studies Office at 215-572-2925.
If you are entering one of the programs listed below, you will need to pay one or more deposits soon after receiving your acceptance letter. Please submit your deposit(s) using a credit card or checking/savings account via our secure payment system.
Will we deduct your deposit from your tuition bill. Your deposit is non refundable. You will not receive a refund if you do not start your program during the semester you are accepted to.
MyArcadia is Arcadia University's portal where you can access everything from email to news feeds to notifications.
Use the username and instructions the Office of Enrollment Management sent you to log in to MyArcadia. If you have any difficulties, contact IT User Support at helpdesk@arcadia.edu or 215.572.2898.
If you will be taking at least 9 graduate credits in a semester (or 6 credits throughout the summer session), you are eligible to apply for a Graduate Assistantship position.
Graduate Assistants (GAs) typically work an average of 4 to 8 hours a week during the academic semester. GAs cannot work more than 32 hours a week at any time. Your exact role (should you become a GA) will depend on the position a professor or administrator selects you for.

Every Arcadia student needs a photo ID card. You will be required to present your ID to gain access to campus buildings. Please go to the Knight Card Services in Taylor Hall to have your picture taken and to obtain your student ID.
A sticker is required for all vehicles to park in Arcadia’s designated lots. Bring your vehicle registration card to the Knight Card Services in Taylor Hall to obtain the sticker. More information about parking lots, fees and regulations.
Here are resources you can access throughout your graduate studies.
This is the system you’ll use to register for classes online. You can also use it to check your account balance, grades and unofficial transcript.
Go to Self Service directly or get to it through MyArcadia.
Go to the Registrar’s Office website to see the academic calendar, request transcripts, access forms, find out which courses are offered each semester and see room locations for classes. Room assignments are typically posted a week before classes start.
The campus map provides updates on construction or other activities affecting parking and/or temporary road closures.
Within a week before online courses are scheduled to begin, you will see a link for the course in MyArcadia. If you are taking an online class for the first time and have questions, consult Arcadia’s online learning website.
As a graduate student of the University you should familiarize yourself with the Graduate Catalog. Please refer to the Catalog for academic policies, processes and forms. If you have questions regarding academic policies, contact your adviser or the Office of Graduate Studies.
All of the forms you will need while you are a graduate student are available online. If you have any questions about completing a form please contact your adviser or the Office of Graduate Studies.
Students who are enrolled in at least 6 graduate credits each academic semester are eligible to apply for financial aid.
Arcadia has several dining options for graduate students who are attending class during the day or in the evening.
The Landman Library website provides access to all library databases, reference assistance, library hours, closures for holidays, and special hours for finals.
