The Autism Certificate will develop the skills needed to excel in your interactions with children and youth with Autism. Students with autism spectrum disorders require specific teaching strategies and educational practices. Learn the social, behavioral, and learning characteristics of youngsters who are in the Autism Spectrum Disorder, in addition to introductory intervention strategies, family, and legal issues.
For professionals who have existing teaching certification, the credential can be also be applied toward adding Autism Endorsement, PA Department of Education.
