The Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) has verified our program as meeting the 5th Edition course work requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) examination*.
The Applied Behavior Analysis program (ABA) provides you with specialized knowledge of the application of behavioral principles. As the number of children who are diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disabilities increases, so does the need for highly trained professionals including teachers, teaching assistants, school and clinical psychologists, ABA therapists, and Behavior Specialists. Employment opportunities are growing across the country in early intervention, schools, community clinics, hospital settings, residential treatment facilities, and private agencies. In fact, the demand for credentialed behavior analysts has more than doubled in the last 4 years as a national trend.
Arcadia’s ABA program includes courses in behavior principles, data analysis, research design and clinical consultation. Obtain training and consultation skills necessary to serve as part of an Interdisciplinary Team, create effective client centered programs, and coach families and team members as part of treatment programming.
Earn a master's degree in 18 to 24 months. If you already have a master's in psychology or special education, our graduate certificate can be completed in three semesters. This program is fully online.
*Applicants for the BCBA exam will have to meet additional requirements beyond coursework to sit for the exam.
