The mission of the Office of Career Education is to educate and create connections for the Arcadia University community to facilitate the holistic career development of undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni.

Our Services

The Office of Career Education (OCE) has established several ways for you to have virtual and in-person access to career education services and resources. Our team is working on campus to assist students, alumni, employers, and faculty through virtual and in-person appointments. We are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm throughout the Fall 2021 semester.

Express Advising for Students

The OCE offers students the opportunity to drop-in and have documents reviewed by our Career Peer Advisors during our Express Advising hours. For any questions regarding Express Advising please email For more information, visit our Express Advising page.



Arcadia faculty can reach out to OCE by completing a Partnership Request, or by reaching out directly to an OCE staff member via email. The OCE Community Page on Canvas has helpful resources for faculty and staff engagement on career development topics. Additionally, we are enhancing the OCE Community page to include pre-recorded presentations and sample assignments on career and professional development topics for the classroom.

Career Advising for Students/Alumni

Meetings with OCE professional staff will be primarily in-person with the option of virtual meetings through Handshake. All meeting with our Career Peer Advisors via Express Advising Services, will take place in-person. Students/alumni can schedule their meetings and RSVP for career events through their personal Handshake account. 


Employers can post open positions and career events for students/alumni directly to Handshake. You can also take advantage of opportunities to keep engaging Arcadia students in the classroom with our Employer Partnership Form or learn more on our On-Campus Recruiting. Throughout this OCE website and the OCE Community Page on Canvas, all students can find a wealth of helpful resources on career development topics. Additionally, undergraduate students can participate in their personalized e3 Career Action Plan through the OCE Community Page.

Student Employment

Our federally funded program assists full-time undergraduate students determined to have financial need, according to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Your award letter will indicate if you are eligible for employment.
