The Gateway to Success Program gives access and academic support to students who do not meet the regular admission criteria to Arcadia University but who have demonstrated the potential to succeed in college with the support of the Gateway program. The Act 101 portion provides additional support and services to students who are Pennsylvania residents and meet an income criteria.
Students are selected through the admissions process, and are the invited to be a part of the program. Once students are selected for our program, they may be required or given the option to participate in our summer bridge program prior to their first year. Our residential summer bridge program is an essential part of Gateway, and students can get a “early start” on their college experience by living on campus for 5 weeks, taking up to 8 college-bearing credits, and learning what it takes to succeed here at Arcadia. As our students affectionately say “Once Gateway family, always Gateway family!”
The Gateway Program is different than the REAL Certificate Program (for students with intellectual disabilities), please go to arcadia.edu/real or contact Simon Mohr at 215-572-4095 to get more information about the REAL program.
